Enrolment

When you enrol, you become a member of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Enrolment takes place short before the beginn of the summer semester. You are required to enrol in person for beginning students (see the notification of admission for exact dates).

Present the following documents at enrolment:

• Notification of admission (original)
  Please note: Notification that you have passed an aptitude test/assessment examination does not substitute the notification of admission.
• Proof of health insurance coverage
  Please note: You can take out a health insurance policy once you are in Germany.
• Proof that you have paid the semester contribution
• international/nach-weimar/vorbereitung/finanzierung/semesterbeitrag.htmlHigher education entrance qualification (original)
• Proof of required language proficiency (original)
• Personal identification card or passport with  visa

Please enrol at the Campus.Office, Geschwister-Scholl-Straße 15, 99423 Weimar.

Important! 

At the end of each semester, all students are required to re-register for the following semester. If you fail to do so, your name will be automatically removed from the register!
