Doctoral Studies
The Bauhaus-Universität Weimar is home to approximately 3,500 students, sixty of which are doctoral candidates from over twenty countries around the world. The modern, well-equipped facilities at the university offer students the best opportunity to gain professional qualification in science, art and design.
Being relatively small and compact, the university has a very familial atmosphere.
Because the campus buildings are so close to one another, students can walk or bike to their classes. This also applies to the dining hall (Mensa) and the student residence halls, the quality of which meets international standards.
