Application requirements and online application

Please note that application requirements are specified by each faculty in consultation with the International Office and can vary depending on the student's subject of study.

By using our online application, you provide us with all necessary information about you and the foreign exchange programme of your choice. The data of those students, who are nominated by their faculties to participate, is stored in a database and treated confidentially in accordance with standard privacy protection laws. The data of those, who are not nominated, is erased.

Please fill out the online form carefully, because any errors you make, e.g. mistyped addresses or telephone numbers, will enter the database and show up in all serial documents which the International Office later sends you and the partner university. Mistakes in your electronic bank transfer information could prevent your mobility allowance to be deposited into your account, wrong e-mail addresses will prevent you from receiving important information, etc. Also pay close attention to the correct usage of upper- and lower-case letters.

After entering your data, "moveon" generates a PDF form, with which you can check and, if necessary, correct your information, before submitting the document electronically. You will also receive a print-out which requires your signature and a passport photo. Attach the form "Motivation for Studying Abroad" to the statement regarding your language skills before submitting the entire package of application materials.

Your application will not be considered unless the print-out of the online form is signed!

Should you desire to change anything after you have already submitted your online application, you will have to repeat the entire process. Based on the date and time of submission, we can distinguish which of your applications is the most recent and final version.

Important: The online application software "moveonline" does not work properly with Netscape 4.7. Please use a more recent version!
