Teaching Staff Mobility
This programme funds university instructors who wish to teach at a European partner university. Guest lecturers strengthen the European dimension of the partner university, supplement the courses offered there and provide expertise to students who could or would not otherwise study abroad. To this end, both universities should work toward developing joint degree programmes and encourage the exchange of course content and teaching methods.
Who is eligible for funding?
• Teaching staff at German universities
• Personnel from European-based companies
What is eligible for funding?
• Guest lectureships comprised of a least 5 hours of instruction and not exceeding 6 weeks of instruction (1 week = 5 work days). The lectureship should extend over at least 5 days, if possible.
What expenses are covered?
• Travel expenses
• Accommodation expenses up to the maximum EU rate adjusted to the country of destination
How do I apply?
- Contact us!
- Before your departure, please submit your travel request, declaration of acceptance and the teaching assignment to the International Office.
- Have the partner university issue you the "confirmation" which you must submit to the International Office...
- when you return, along with your report. Only then can your mobility grant be paid out in full.
