International University Cooperation

The International Office supports employees of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar who participate in projects of international university cooperation. Please submit your funding application to the International Office before your departure and send us your approved travel request.

Projects which are eligible for funding include:

• Trips to initiate university cooperation
• Trips to intensify existing university cooperation
• Trips to carry out joint projects (e.g. exhibitions)

Participation at conferences, workshops, seminars and similar events are not eligible for funding.

Funding covers travel and accommodation expenses (with adequate proof of purchase, i.e. bills and receipts).

Funding generally does not cover the costs of:

• Daily allowances
• Meals
• Visa fees
• Internet usage and telephone bills
