The University Public Relations department at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar keeps you up to date on upcoming events and recent developments at the university. If you would like to interview a university expert on a current issue, we would be happy to arrange one for you quickly and non-bureaucratically. We are also a member of the Informationsdienst Wissenschaft (idw), an association of German-speaking university press offices which provide research assistance to journalists through the Internet.

Under the heading Media Information, you will find the most recent press releases by the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. You can also peruse our older press releases in our archive with an integrated search function. The dates of upcoming university events are posted on the online calendar.

General services
If you require photo material, you can make a pre-selection using our photo service. On request, the University Public Relations department would be happy to send you the selected photos at the quality you desire. If you require a photo or film permit, you can download the corresponding forms here.
