International Campus

At the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, internationality is not only an integral component of instruction,  but also an essential aspect of campus life. In the following, you will find more information about selected projects and organisations which provide assistance to international students with matters of daily life and contribute to generating dynamic international exchange.

Bauhaus Summer School

During the semester break, the Bauhaus Summer School not only offers some 380 students from 65 countries a diverse, intensive programme of language courses and interdisciplinary workshops, but also the chance to meet people from around the world, to network and acquire skills in areas outside of their field of study. Weimar International Network (WIN)

WIN is a joint project by the International Office of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, the Thuringian Studentenwerk and the StuKo project “Bauhaus Internationals”. With an extensive website and numerous programmes, WIN provides information and promotes intercultural contact between students and citizens in Germany and abroad. Bauhaus Internationals

The Bauhaus Internationals is a student-run project at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. German and international students organise various events and programmes together, such as the Culture Talks and the Tandem Programme. Click here to visit the website of the Bauhaus Internationals.

International Student Barometer

Bauhaus-Universität Weimar continually strives to improve the services for international students. To this end, it recently conducted the “International Student Barometer” survey. The results of the study will be presented at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar in spring 2012.
