9th International Model Project Forum

8. International Model Project Forum 2008

URBAN DESIGN PROJECTS, PLANNING AND SUSTAINABILITY

How do practice and theory mesh when it comes to implementing concrete urban design and development projects? What kinds of different approaches exist for the design and development of large projects for new cities or neighbourhoods? What does the much-discussed and ever-pressing topic of “sustainability” mean in urban design and planning terms? And what role do architects and planners play in this context?  These and many other questions have been discussed with our international Model Project Partners during the Model Project Forum between February 27 and 29, 2008.
