Re-registration

You can start your re-registration now.
The deadline is February, 26th 2012 (payment receipt at our account).

To re-register, you are required to pay a semester fee of € 128,70 to the Landeshauptkasse Thüringen, Acct. No. 3001111313, BLZ: 82050000, Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen.

Purpose: your matriculation number, surname, first name

Please use the transferral form included in the concertina folder as it includes information which the computer requires for processing your re-registration (matriculation number). If you wish to use your bank’s transferral form, make sure to include your matriculation number on the form.

 

Long-term study fees

Students who study longer than the prescribed duration of their academic programme are obliged to pay long-term study fees. Those who receive payment notification of such fees are required to pay € 500.00 to:

Students can file for a partial or total waiver of these fees within the re-registration period. Send your fee waiver petitions to: Dezernat Studium und Lehre (Campus.Office) 99421 Weimar.

Please note: If you fail to pay your long-term study fees within the re-registration period, you will not be registered for the next semester!

Failing to re-register on time

If, for some reason, you have not paid your semester fee to re-register or take a leave of absence, you will most likely be removed from the register. You can only re-register or apply for a leave of absence at a later time if you can provide ample reason for your delinquency. If your explanation is valid, you will be required to pay an additional default fee of € 20.00, payable to:

Extending the validity of your thoska

You can extend the validity of your thoska card at the thoska self-service terminal at the Mensa am Park, Marienstr. 15, or in the foyer at Campus.Office after you have paid your semester fee of € 128,70 (or long-term study fee, if applicable).

Taking a leave of absence

If you wish to take a leave of absence for a semester, you have to submit your application until the end of the re-registration. It is not permitted to backdate a leave of absence. You are exempt from the tuition fee.

After the start of the semester, you should contact the Studentenwerk Thüringen directly to be reimbursed for the tuition fee you have already paid. Fee reimbursement is processed according to the semester fee regulations of the Studentenwerk.

Reimbursement applications are available at the Infotake Weimar (Mensa am Park).
