Guest students from other universities

(1) If you are a student enrolled at another university, you can apply to take individual courses or even an entire course of study in a major offered by the Bauhaus-Universität. Furthermore, you are permitted to take examinations in accordance with the examination regulations here.

(2) You are required to apply as a guest student (Zweithörer) within the application period specified by the university. Along with your application, you are also required to provide proof of matriculation from your university or your valid student ID. We reserve the right to review additional documentation if required.

Admission is granted on a semester basis only.

(3). For courses of study with restricted admission, guest students can only receive approval for courses which are not yet full. This has no effect on the conditions outlined in Par. 2, Sect. 3, No. 3.

(4) Guest-student status does not establish affiliation with the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Consequently, guest students are exempt from semester fees.
