Projects
E-Learning Tool for Structural Dynamics
| Damped Oscillation This tool visualises the damped oscillation of a one mass system and prints a diagram for displacement, velocity and acceleration. This is an Open Source project. If you want to compile the source code, you need to install Qt, which can be downloaded under http://www.qtsoftware.com/downloads |
Tower Project
Competition contribution to the Architecture- and Engineering Award Hamburg 2005 |
IfcGears
IfcGears provides a C++ class model, as well as a reader and writer for IFC files in STEP format.
Features
- Easy and efficient memory management using smart pointers
- Parallel reader for very fast reading of files or other streams on multi-core cpu's
- Simple IFC viewer application, using Qt and OpenSceneGraph
Integrative Structural Design System (ISDS)
Interactive simulation and visualization framework.
The video shows the software applied to an example tower model.
E-Learning Tool "Prestressed Concrete Beam"
Interactive simulation and visualization of a prestressed concrete beam for e-learning purposes.
The software can be used for educational purposes and downloaded here:
www.dictionary.bi.htwg-konstanz.de/PrestressedBeam/
This eLearning tool won the first price at the competition "Auf It gebaut 2010" (see "Awards" below)
