Investigations into Binders

DTA

  • testing of mineral binders (cement, lime, gypsum, anhydrite) after valid DIN- and/or EN standards (physical and mortar-technical characteristics and chemical analysis)
  • measurement of caloric dimensions for example specific heat and values derived from it in comparison to an inert substance
  • clinker phase analysis (x-ray analysis, microscopy)
  • raw material evaluation, raw mix conditioning and burning of cement and other mineral binders in the laboratory
  • development, investigation and evaluation of blended portland and special cements, including supersulphated cements
  •

  • investigations to the resistance to deterioration process triggered by chemical reactions and durability of binders (among other things sulfate attack, alkali-aggregate reactions, heat of hydration, inclination to cracking, frost resistance)
  • investigations of the hydration behavior and of the setting and hardening process, as well as the hydration products of all mineral binders including the influences of admixtures (DCA, DTA, ESEM, REM, XRD) ESEM, REM, XRD)
